Tomorrow, July 22nd KiteGirl Downwinder

This event is held by KiteGirl in conjunction with KiteWindSurf and Kiítopia.

Since the wind forecast in the Delta for this weekend looks pretty windless, we are changing locations for the KiteGirl Downwinder and Krustyís infamous ìDragQueen Contestî TM...

We'll meet at 3rd Ave, since this is one of the few spots that looks like it might be windy tomorrow.
The cost to participate in the downwinder is $30.00 and it includes a self-rescue clinic, emergency boat support and a tailgate BBQ sponsored by Eclipse and First Flight with awards/prizes the night of the 22nd. BYOG (Bring your own gear) BYOB, there will be ice
Swag and prizes sponsored by DaKine, Venus, UltraNectar and Slingshot.

Here is the event schedule:

Participant Registration ($30.00 cash) at 10am to 11am at the lower launch.
Self-rescue clinic follows, then free-ride and mini-downwinders from upper to lower launch, afterwards we will have the tailgate-BBQ and prizes/awards/swag.
