Brodda, I gotta tell you thats a tall order!
The main differance your gonna find around these parts is micro-systems, what that means in reality is you aften get to pick your conditions. For example Alameda 12mph, central bay spots running,Ahh- mid twentys (12-32), down south coast its nuking (22-40mph) as well as bay spots like 3ed ave, once again Alameda holding steady 9-19 meaning its really about 10mph...
So I guess the point of all this is, Whats your pleasure? You like'um BEEF or more into tofu... Pretty soon your going to "NEED" another kite (thats a little inside joke, we dont need nuthing we WANT it all) if you want to indulge in all the pleasures Nor-Cal has to offer.
BTW: Welcome to the Bay Area, your gonna love it!
Enjoy,

What is your closest spot? Are you willing to drive out to sherman? Are you into waves?
for your weight I would say 14 & one 10 for teh bay except alameda where you need 21 and 14. Waves might be 10-12 and then smaller on.
Welcome and dont forget to enjoy the summer with the nice wind!

Thanks for the replies, fella's (and the welcome!). I'm in Fremont for training at the moment, but will be heading off to SF in a month or so for work. I'm all about exploring, so I'm sure I'll be making rounds and trying out every spot in the area that I can. ...and I'm definitely not a vegitarian, though some times I do go for the white meat :P I haven't had the chance to do any Wave riding yet- I'm relatively new to this, so right now I'm sort of in a one-track "bigger and bigger air" mindset.

What are the sizes of your existing quiver including your board? and what conditions have you been out already? Flat water or surf?
