I just thought about to join the SFBA as they made a really good safety meeting last year. On their website I realized that there is also a SFKA, which I never heared before. So I went on the SFKA site and looked if I should jint them as a member but actually they dont even offer that. So who can bring light to mybain ...!?! Whats the difference of these two?

I may be mistaken, and correct me if I am mistaken, but the SFKA has not really done much so far, except
there informational web site.

The SFBA has been very active in maintaining access rights and launch improvments.

Also to consider if you go to sherman island much is the www.RVWA.com
They represent Windsurfers and kiters in the Delta.

They maintain the sand bag launches over the levy, and provide port a poities, And intefrace with the government agencies.

.. I never ride Sherman. The dirve is a hassle for me. And SFBA does a lot at 3rd, my main spot.
