For anyone interested in the Firefox Browser, there's a new version out.

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

v 1.5 looks pretty good and has a lot of new features:

"A Better Web Experience
Firefox 1.5 has an intuitive interface and blocks viruses, spyware, and popup ads. It delivers web pages faster than ever. And itís easy to install and import your favorites. Packed with useful features like tabbed browsing, Live Bookmarks, and an integrated Search bar, Firefox will change the way you experience the Web, for the better."

I downloaded the new version of Firefox this morning (was previously on Firefox 1.07)... works great! Noteworthy enhancements are: back/forward caching of web pages for faster response times, incremental patches (vs. having to download a whole new Firefox executable in the past), and the ability to drag browser tabs around.

If you are still using Internet Explorer, definitely give Firefox 1.5 a whirl. I switched from the old Netscape to IE a long time ago, but switched back to Firefox over a year ago and haven't looked back since.

P.S. You can add weather forecasts to your Firefox toolbar (using the Forecastfox extension), which is pretty neat for us kiters :)
