Thermal Bubble video..

I read about this but never thought it was true until I found the video till a few weeks ago.. Check out
http://www.naish.tv/tvhome.html and click on ëEric ñ Serious Hang Timeí Eric get lifted by a thermal bubble and goes for a major ride.. Yikes!!

Scary. I'm sure this kind of thing can happen anywhere, but does anyone know where this happened?
I know in the kite buggy world, the word is to NEVER park your kite directly overhead. I've read gust stories that would make your hair stand on end. I'll post a link if anyone's interested.
