Bulldozers at Alameda?

Anyone know what the bull dozers are doing at Alameda? I ususally see them in the morning / at low tide on the web cam.

During the winter, the storms wash away part of the beach. Then in the spring time, EB Regional Parks brings in more sand and the dozers "rebuild" the beach.
