Anyone know of a effective (mild) solution for cleaning kite fabric and the thicker bladder material?
Thanks.

For general kite cleaning, a mild dishwashing soap works well. For cleaning prior to reapirs, use Isopropyl Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol) and let dry.
Hope this helps,

Thanks Ollie.
And how about tougher stains or dirt on the bladder? Wondering if a solvent is too harsh.
A good spring cleaning..

Ollie,
Apparently the bladders are coated with a water repellant, so cleaning with anything else other than a mild soap is not recommended. Otherwise the coating may be stripped off and the nylon will absorb more moisture/water.
Oh well, us anal retentive types will have to live with the unsightly stains. Good news is hardly noticable at 30m above head!
Thanks for the advice.
