Remember when we had buoys at Sherman?

I do hope somebody talked to the guy that was throwing stuff on Sunday inside where the buoys used to be. He just missed eating it at least five times in the time I was watching him around noon......and if he had eaten it any one of those time he easily could have tomahawked the little kids that were playing in the water by the exit area. I thought he was being a real knucklehead.
Sure, the parents probably should have had the kids play in a different area after they were cautioned that it was kite central, but I don't think they really understood the potential danger presented by a guy jumping within a kite length of their kids.

Buoys are long gone but still a good idea to keep that area clear for exit/entry, not the show. The entertainment factor is still there even if you're out a little further. I love the show. I mean it was thrilling to be sitting there and knowing the kite could come down on my head if he screwed it up but....meh. I left. The guy wasn't that good and the risk reward factor imbalanced.

Jump a little outside, mo betta. Not everybody can relaunch their kite out of the bushes like Ruben.

Nice little patch of smoothness, was going to crank a big ass turn thinking that nobody was around 'cause it was pretty early, but did a perfunctory check and holy! I know the early bird gets the worm but holy crap you must have been out there before dawn......

I remember the bouys and know one gave a bleep. i guess thats why they were never put back. i think people should jump out farther, but intitlement attitude is the norm in the world now.
