Bay Area Wind

How's the wind up there?
I remember it two years ago and it blew me away - I could never stay strapped into the board.
You guys must be pretty good to manage to stay on your boards?
I've been thinking about making a trip your way. Is anyone planning any events? *&$#

Should be good when thermals start in April. This winter was not as good as previous years due to lack of wind generating storm fronts.

For strapless riding, I always carry a surfboard and a skim board. if I find myself getting pulled off my surfboard, that meant I have rigged too much kite, so I switch to the skim board to manage the power better.
