Post by mcfly777 » Wed Mar 04, 2015 12:56 pm

Just saw they started issuing human forecasts for the bay area. We're back on!
See you on the water.

Are the Human forecast depicted as numbers on the map because all I see is the map - are there written descriptions anywhere?

No you have to click on the "Pro Forecasts", it is a text format with a good explanation and a table with wind speeds throughout the day for the major kiting/windsurfing sites.

Okay thanks, I found "Pro Forecasts" in the hamburger menu button on the map and it says "Viewing a Professional Meteorologist Forecast requires a PRO or Gold membership." but it shows me a forecast anyways. Am I seeing a non professional forecast or am I viewing like a free trial?

You're probably seeing a sample and non-accurate forecast.
Yes, you need membership to have access to human forecast and to all the sensors around the bay.
Totally worth it. Get it now before the season starts.

I you bookmark your favorite spot you'll get the human forecast a little ways down the page. E.g. here's Crissy
