Lost my directional at Dillon Beach this afternoon. South wind, slightly offshore, clean, big wave faces. Not use to going out over waves on that tack. Totally overpowered on my 7m, got lofted as I went over a good sized wave, lost the board. Had to bail on trying to get to it as I was headed towards the rocks.

Just got a call from the security officer at Dillon Beach, someone found it in one of the rocky coves and turned it in. Sweet.

Always been my desire to ride Dillon on a south wind, it was amazing to see the spray being pulled off the lip of the waves and to see relatively clean wave faces, like in a surf magazine. No one else out, except for the windsurf guy.
