iPhone case

I am in need of a waterproof case for an iPhone 5. I know this has been addressed here in the past, but I am wondering if there are any new products that are recommended. I would rather not spend $150 for the Hitcase PRO+. My goal is to keep the phone dry. Taking pictures is not a priority.
Thanks.

Do you want the case for everyday use or just when you're in the water?

I would say that my primary need it just when I'm in the water. However, if it is streamlined enough, I wouldnt be opposed to leaving it on all the time.

I use this,

I don't prefer anything on the screen of my iPhone for daily use (makes typing feel funky), so I prefer a case I can put my phone in and take it out of easily when I'm in the water. This quickly disqualifies several cases (LifeProof, OtterBox, etc.), because they have to be "installed" and are really meant to be used as the main case for daily use.
You gotta love the price of the bag/case thing Sonny linked to above. But I *think* you'd be hard pressed to actually make a phone call in an emergency while in the water - see the story of my swim at Dillon:

Maybe I'm wrong - Sonny, can you make a call with your phone in that bag?

Yes, the touch screen works through the bag.

But could you make an emergency phone call from the water and actually hear and be heard while the phone is in that bag?
Not that that is what the original poster is looking for here, but I think it's an important distinction in deciding which case/bag to get.

I personally have never made a call. Friend of mine called her dad from the channel just for the hell of it. I don't think the bag is the issue, the wind might be more of an issue.

I don't recommend taking business calls while you're out kiting but I'm sure that bag will work to make your phone an "in case of emergency" device. Afterall, it will dial 911 and it has a GPS tracking built into it!!
I've thrown my phone in one of those bags and on speaker you can definitely hear the other side, but as mentioned in wind it might be hard for them to understand you - which is less of an issue as the wind / day dies down (i.e. the point you probably no longer want to be swimming around out there).
Also think text-to-911 is also slated eventually to go live in the bay area but I couldn't really pin down any updates or details on that:

I just remembered Johnny buzzing around on a foil near Kitopia last summer talking on the phone.
