Checking this site for news of storm damage. I don't see anything. It looked bad on the TV news for the Bay Area. I very much look forward to kiting at Sherman again this May-June. My favorite spot. It seems like just the regular wind and waves at high tide could mess up the beach. Any reports?

I wonder if it might have either lifted all the driftwood off the beach and dumped it higher up, or washed it all away? Either would be nicer than the wall o logs you had to negotiate last season.

I went by Sherman yesterday on my way through and took a walk to the launch. The launch was underwater completely. There are quite few trees that were floating over the beach hidden in the Water Hyacinth. Its going to be interesting to see what happens in the spring. Either way, there will need to be a massive cleanup of the launch.

Just need a couple foil boarders to ride through and chop up the growth.
