Split Strut GoPro Kite Mount

SplitStruts are struts that are stitched to the actual kite (most slingshot kites/etc)
I've found some old posts online of people hacking something together. An Anyone know a company or someone that sells them?

I really want aerial shots of all the great white sharks around me next time i go to santa cruz.

i just use my bungee head strap mount around the strut.. would that work for you?

there's also velcro ones... honestly the head strap thing is just as sturdy. Have crashed it many times. I always tether it just in case tho.

I wish that would work - it's just that my kite has split struts so the strut is actually stitched TO the kite. there's no way to put a strap around the strut. Here's something that someone hacked together http://www.matmackenzie.co.uk/gopro-kit ... rut-kites/ - I'm just wondering if anyone figured out an easier way or if anyone sells anything like this
