Kiting in O'ahu

I am a newbie kiter been kiting out at Alameda since July.

Curret skill level:
Able to bdrag upwind with or without board fine.
Able to water start and ride for about 10-20m on weak wind day. And longer distance on stronger wind day.

I will have the chance to go to Oahu early Oct. Is there a nice forgiving beach there suited for beginners like Alameda (but hopefully better wind)?

And what should I watch out for at those sites?

Thank you!

Kailua is nice if isn't too light. The beach can be congested at times with tourists and kids playing in the water where you launch. Fun spot for sure.

All the way Kanaha - Kite Beach in Kahului! Read up on the area; in true Hawaiian style every 50 feet of beach has a new name. Winds are super consistent but the terrain is more advanced than Alameda, watch out for rocks and know where to come in. I lost some ground on a light day and came in at the lower beach, downwind of Ka'a point and wished I'd left my slippers down there for the walk back along the road.
