New to Sacramento

Hi there
I have just moved to Sacramento and new to the Bay Area. Looking to connect with anyone that knows the the kite spots in the area and would car pool.
I get the sense Sherman Island is the best spot for those travelling from Sac and Folsom is good on the odd day.
