Hi There,
anyone been able to find a good set of fin protectors while traveling with twin tip? need something that will sort of wrap each fin in some protection cover so that while traveling the fin would not break. I am imagining some sort of a hard styrofoam cube around each fin so that any direct hit would not bend it....
I would like to not have to take the fins off the board in my upcoming november trip...
cheers...
happy upcoming winter kiting travels!!!!

T usually in a bag they'll be fine in all situations... But if you're flying w/ gear it's prob best to just bite the bullet and break down the fins on your boards etc

I learned the hard way - even in a dedicated bag and while traveling by plane, one of fins broke off. I now unscrew them and haven't had a problem since. I don't think you can avoid that 5min exercise...

.....and keep them off
and put some boots on it!
Seriously, take them off or consider buying an electronic screw driver if it is really too much of a hassle.
What's the best way to travel by air with you kites inflated? just kidding
