True, but she needs to understand that other people have opinions too. When she got on for what seemed forever, people started leaving. Not to mention that she just started attacking people personally. I think that really crossed the line.charlie wrote:she is entitled to her opinion.

Pams a loose cannon, she doesnt even kite (her husband does)....
As far a she goes I'd say WE need to be able to deal with a person in her frame of mind, for that reason she served a purpose....
NOW that leads into a good dialoge; what is a proper meeting and what will bring order to a setting. I say we need to appoint a team leader or something to run the meeting. This person needs to be able to direct the meeting and not allow it to run off track so we can get something accomplished. I will stay for 1.5 hrs MAX.
BTW: I WILL NOT BE THAT PERSON!
Do we have any recommendations?? How about you Elli??

Greg, the unfortunate truth is that, I know you are worn thin, you are about as good a rep as anyone could ask for. You are experienced, you are HEARD when you speak, you are not biased, you already know some people at the top of ladder, you are even tempered, and are already in a position to carry forth the voice of the community.L.M.G. wrote:Pams a loose cannon, she doesnt even kite (her husband does)....

Then again, you seem to have this position of leadership forced down your throat over and over. As much of an honor as it would seem to be, I can rightfully understand that this is a stressful position to constantly be in and it seems to drain the life out of you.
In short it would be a shame to lose your ability to mediate.
And there is my ass kissing chore for the day.

Greg, I am willing to help, but I don't think I have the experience, creditability and connections that you have in the bay area and among kiters. I am fairly new to this business and actually kite more on a land than on water. From our limited interaction I think you are a better person to lead this effort. I can help in many ways, but as a spokesman for us you will do a better job.
The biggest issue I have to deal with in Ocean Beach is dogs taking a leak on my gear :)
