Well, crissy being at an average of 29mph with gust at 37mph, I'm definitely going back to 3rd today!

Already off the water ;-)
IT WAS GREAT on my 8 having 3rd all for myself, well most of the time with the exception of some windsurfers- but they dont count. Jumps to the 4-5th floor and fast drops due to the small kite. It looked much better at 8am anyway.

Anybody thinking about Emery Point or the Racetrack this afternoon? The wind is pretty crazy right now but it looks like it should be calming down into rideable territory around 3 pm or so. Don't know if wind direction and gusts will make it a fun ride, though.

Just drove past the Racetrack...looked like there was a bit of a wind shadow at the launch from the Albany bulb. Looked nice down toward University.

Interesting about the wind shadow--maybe that's a product of wind direction. Don't imagine there will be a lot of dog walkers out in this weather; maybe we can use the beach for a change ... ?

You were at the Racetrack?? I drove by at 3 pm and didn't see anyone. And it wasn't that windy. Emery Point was a different story, though. Had a nice ride on my 12M--it was gusty, but not crazy. I didn't get pulled off my board. But I kept it brief--the water was c--o--l--d.
