Just since we are airing complaints, the real good one is when people are making a wide turn to toe side (or even just a transition) at Alameda, or Sherman and don't look back before they turn. You are downwind, not even in their line, you see someone going downwind and the kite headed toward your side and they suddenly see you as they are about to complete the turn.
You look behind you when you back up driving right? Why not try it when kiting?

Oh wow, I used to do this too when I was a kid. We made our own kites and the better designs collected a lot of kites. We had to wear leather gloves so we don't get our hands cut by our own lines. Of course my kites got jacked by the bigger kids most of the time, so I played some politics and bought them popsicles, they left me alone after that.
