That's what's cool about the front line leash. When you are about to land you connect the leash to the front ring, and when you need to yank the top front line you can just grab the leash.

Elli - definitely front line is best way to go, but so many kites have just a single leader at the bar these days that you really need to learn how to use a back line, too.
