I offer my sincere apologe for starting this Inflamatory thread.
I did not witness the altercation, but from what I have read on the forums
so far, there are some people who don't see the bigger picture.

I am not so sure I do ether to be honest.

Be safe ALL, and enjoy this cool sport @ Alameda.
Season is short here, no time to waste energy on negative things when
the water is 76 degrees and the wind is calling!

Don as a fellow instructor,

Rule #1 Never ever loose your cool,

your a instructor the public holds you to a higher standard, when you loose your cool you loose your position, and that makes us instructors look bad.

Don I was not refering to the forum, on the contrary, forum is the only place we as instructors an voice our human opinion,

I was refering to the issue at hand the one on May 26 incident,

Rule #2 Do not rely on your supervisor (Boardsports=shack) to set the standard. they are their to do business, to generate income, your have a different critiera, your an Instructor, a Leader, a Guru, everybody looks up to you for guidence, people are not stupid they know that Boardsport is there for business and politics, you are not , you follow no guide lines other the the oath of leadership and mentor, Plain and simple, wether your teaching at Alameda, Florida, Hattaras, maui, san diego, every location has different guide lines and rules, but ours never change, ours never faulter, ours is the oath to our clients and to the public, and we never ever relinquist our duty to our clients, they take presidence above and beyond guide lines and rules that our idiot employers or politicians (localism) set forth, We never ever argue with our clients and public fans(Yawn Jan Sandi) about issues, we never go there we set the standards not invoke them.

Your not a Politician (Boardsport) our not Localism (beach police)

your a Instructor (Mentor) that is your duty
