Was it just me, or did it almost feel like a summer's day at 3rd yesterday (cold water notwithstanding)? Great, clean wind all afternoon. Gusty only for a few small periods, but the rest was just perfect.

atleast a good learning experience in ridiculously big closed out surf. winds dippin out of the teens and gusting near 30. def a tough day. glad all the bay peeps had fun too.

I managed to get a late skunk session at Stinson sunday, and another after work skunk session at Larkspur on Monday. I guess its give and take, can't win em all. For all the good choices I've made about where to kite I defintely dropped the ball.

I dunno Joe... that was a freaky ride last time. I vowed to never engange in an experience like that again. 8 of us left the beach, only 3 made it back. If the clouds are clear i may be game. This time I'll bring a 5 meter and surfboard. I thought that was your kite shadow??

That pic DJ Guac took on the box kite is SICK!! I imagine Doran was freaking awesome that day... another bad location call on my part (although I rode the secret local spot).

I'll be around this spring/summer. Would like to trek out to Tubes if you want to show me the ropes!! Bet the shawdows are even bigger out that way.
