Today at Sherman some kook managed to tie half of his own lines to his kite and half of someone elses lines to the other side.

Andre, how did you release the other guys kite by mistake? and why did he not have a leash?
paul, the guy that tied half his lines on, how did the launch go? sorry i missed it.

Rita, your suck a crack ho!

Yeah, Andre, you cant be serious. Let this post re-stoke you. You'd be getting rid of the best addiction ever! Also, with the exception of a VERY few people, this is a wonderful family to be part of.

I'll be sending a check out for gas to Helm, you guys rock! and yeah, I'm a kook. I'm sorry to everyone I offended, harmed, or just plain annoyed out there. I don't know what else to say. It was an accident. I just truly want to say thanks for the people who helped out. I won't be out ruining people's good time anymore. I'm over it.

Anyone looking for some 06 vegas kites, 10m and 14m? Got a big ass light wind board (LF 151) and an older slingshot misfit 128 too. 06 bar w/ new 07 cleat, dakine seat harness, and o'neil impact vest. Would like to get rid o the whole rig, maybe to a newbie looking to get into the sport.
Everyone has a bad day once in a while. In the overall scheme of things, it was not all that bad. Both of you guys easily made it back to the beach and no injuries. Don't be a kook and not sell the gear. I will expect to see you at 3rd this weekend.

Sonny is right, as is Zeev. Don't let a bad day get you out the sport. After being active in many things in the past, once I found kiteboarding, that was it, the ultimate. So a few things went wrong, the main thing is that no one got hurt and you'll do things different in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again. If you need help on technique, ask, I'm sure there are plenty of people happy to give you tips. Get back out there if you still have interest!

Airess- I have no idea how his got released. we were floating right next to each other when my kite got powered up. Rather than risk injury to either one of us, I released my kite. maybe as the chicken loop was pulled around his lines, it somehow grabbed his release in the process. the kite was powered so it would have the power to release his also. Just a weird situation and circumstance I guess.

I think it was a bow kite. Do people not wear leashes w/ bows? I'm not sure how those work, since I have a C. I remember a guy at alameda who had a bow, and somehow his kite was stuck in endless kiteloops, so he released, and of it went to Bayfarm. Is this common not to use leashes w/ bows?

i also have a c kite and have heard of several stories involving bow kites without leashes. i'm just trying to figure out how you could have released his kite. probably just popped under the pressure. did the other rider have any thoughts on this.
hey all you bow kite kooks, do you guys have leashes?
