Um, what if it's warm enough to only be in board shorts? What do you do if they end up around your ankles then? Maybe you'd be like Yuri and have all the ladies on you checking out your junk. In that case, please wear a wetsuit. :!:super_monkey wrote:Did it for a while but realized the complete lack of utility and it's actually quite annoying when the string goes loose and you end up kiting with the shorts around your knees or ankles. The last time I wore shorts I took them off at third and tossed them in the water.

your biggest concern regarding the future of this sport is what people are wearing? wow.I think it is better for the future of the sport that all "kite-pants" manufacturers has stop activites, and yes you are part of the reason why they stopped: havin to watch you sporting them was/is fackin painfull.
Don`t think anyone looks any cooler with boardshorts on! I m curious how Windsurfers, surfers(or anyone else that wears a wetsuit) do to protect their wetsuits or hide their key, it seems like such a new huge problem for kiteboarders???
i'm only concerned about people wearing speedos.

While this idea may not be profitable, how about cutting up those old kites that are laying around from years past and turning them into kite pants or board shorts. (why don't we call them board pants?)
I know of at least one person at SI who has a sail loft and without a doubt has an abundance of old kite material to play with. This person also happens to be wicked with a sewing machine. The question is how good is he at making clothing. Perhaps we'll find out.
If pink is the new black, why are wetsuits still black, and why are you still wearing light blue boardshorts? (check the gallery for SI, I posted proof!)

variety is the spice of life...and i do like it SPICY!
so to answer your question, i wear all kinds of colors(i've worn my pink shorts so much they have a big rip in them, maybe i should wear a wetsuit over them in order to protect them? hmmm. NO)
and i guess you also did not see the 'big ass' incident posted previously re:recycling kites, kite pants. which brings up a good point in my case, since black has the slimming effect i should probably stay away from bright colors, but no, i want to make sure zeev can see me and all the junk in my trunks!
