you gotta ride ollies demo rapture ,or mine then see how you feel ?
and yes it takes a session or two to get the feel of them.
and if the bows are hype why is everyone make n them?
if i had a small budget id go with a bow for rang,
if i was in the mood for tricks id get a typr 7 or type wave
if i wanted to ride unhooked for the frist times id get a type 7
ask your self what you want to do
i hope i helped some?
and yesterday at meda, i dont think i would have gone on a c kite
sept a type wave with the total depower bar
my 9m rapture2 got me off the beach and out very safe
on the water,it handled all that nasty gusty stuff well
i was not busting huge fat assed kite looops like ollie, no
but i was upwind and in a good place to watch!
AND WHOS NARNESS DO I HAVE IN MY TRUCK???

Dewey,
Hold tight for a little longer so you can demo the Rap2 12m and the Type 7 12m and see what's right for you and your riding style and what you want out of a kite. Charlie summed it up good as far as the differences between the kites, they're just not the same at all, so the only way you'll really know is to try them. Maybe on a blue sky clearing day at Alameda soon...

Simply SHOCKING
All this hype!
What's my type?
Am I fat or lean?
What should be my wave machine....
Should I pull the trigger...
Will it ---DELIVER! Is there really a one kite quiver,
ONE that makes me---- shiver!!
Questions, questions, questions...
Just to add:
thow it might some mad,
or simply fill you with confusion...
My solution is not delution,
keep it simple as can be...
I choose that kite line, standing the test of time,
a company thats tried and true!
They've never let me down!
I never left with a frown after flying a NAISH wing.
this year you'll see...
Red, White and Blue ShockWaves and me,
either flying or carving the line...
so if you care to try, simply drop by,
I usually launch at the spit....
No one else will be in sight,
pure riding delight.
light blue water for miles, then deep blue sea

WooHoo, I knew you had a penchant for the dramatic written word and storytelling, but a poet? Never!
It can all be so confusing....
Some might say that you are
Really Right Dude!
or....
What Wisdom!

Guy's I don't even feel worthy to post on this forum anymore. LMG you took posting and kite choice to a new level. A poet you are. Sorry for your lack of wind. Hope you find it in Flordia.
Ollie your acronyms leave me to think that there is a hidden message some where.
I think that this year I'm going to work on free style, big air, and explore the big blue out side of the bay.
I started out in the ocean and think I should get back into surfing as well as flat water.
So the kite dilemma continues....
