me too no problems with durability, I have landed some big airs to the flats in the middle of the board and the board has handled it fine which is crazy. My surf version which was the original construction without the balsa rail had very fragile rails due to the light glass job, but the kite version is built like a rock. Not the lightest board around but it seems pretty durable.

Did you get the board from firewire directly or from a local shop? Also, what is the opinion on the Slighshot T-rex? http://kiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp? ... ze&cat=179 The claim that it is a MPH, but the under side of the board definitely looks simpler compared to the Vanguard. Also, its probably heavier.

We've got the Slingshot 2015 boards coming in this week. Give us a shout to demo.
