Thanks Alex. I built that trail ten years ago with friends in Kelowna, British Columbia. If you want to experience mountain biking at it's finest (and gnarliest), a trip to BC is a must. There is killer stuff in the interior and on the coast. Today, a lot of the trails are hidden because the local authorities attempt to close them down if they are on Crown (public) lands due to liability issues....but there is still plenty of good stuff to be had and all you need to do is ask a local to take you.

A couple more pics - same city, different mountain. I used to have a small house at the base of the mountain so it was ideal for shuttling a few runs after work - top to bottom it was the same length as the average downhill course.

What I am curious to see is how the elcetric dirtbikes work out on public mountain bike trails. They say that they can legally be classified as an electric powered bicycle but we all know as soon as the first Joe goes out and squirts dust on some nanny and her freshly groomed poodle-it's over! We have discussed the possibility of putting fake cranks on the zero's or quantyas to makem appear more like a pedaled bike if authorityies come around. It is very close to happening since the battery technology is getting cheap enough to make these things under $8000 now.
