Hi,
Thanks all for the advice. What is the wind situation in Sherman Island, I thought about going there?
How strong is the wind, how crowded are the beaches on the weekend, what hours in the day does this spot work?
Thanks

:roll:le noun wrote: Hot and flat water with wind all day? Sherman Island. A little over an hour to drive from the city but dang it feels good sometimes to ride in shorties or even without a wet suit! Plus, on week days, I rarely see more than 10 people in the water at the same time.

If you want to kite a lot I highly recommend http://www.ikitesurf.com/ for wind meters around the bay and forecasts.
Todays forecast is medium for sherman and sligtly less for third. Maybe just stop at third to see if you get lucky, its a lot quicker to get there from the south bay than sherman. If you don't get to kite you can at least get to know the area and get some info from the locals which are friendly and helpful, and a more than one of them speaks hebrew :)
