that's usually the problem. people go out in no wind and swipe their kites through hords of families.
CORRECT!! That IS the problem..
The 4th is typically a day at the beach like So-Cal.. Tons of walkers, swimmers and waders, EACH EAGER to HELP the strugging NEWBIE kiter... The problem is they have no idea what they are doing and what the potential for trouble is...
Heres an EXAMPLE: a kid gets swept down by a crashing kite. the lines are under light load but they are pinched between the child's legs.. The resulting string burn is small but very painful, the fire dept, police and ambulance are called..... In the end the parents decide NOT to sue-
PURE DUMB LUCK! (this is a true story) that I wish NEVER REPEATED!

Yes-
just dont step in any used pampers.
be real-real careful to not trip over Max's lines..
and it would be nice to pick up some of the McDonalds cups, needles and wrapers floating along the waters edge on your way back in....
Dont pee in your wetsuit! :shock:
We see that yellow water flowing out your wetsuit =;
STOP RIGHT THERE!
You pull'n my leg???
SHARK!! :shhh:

So has anyone actually gone out over the last two or three days? Seems like the wind has been a little light all over, with the exception of Berkeley yesterday which was 9m weather.

I am going to leave Black Cabrinha alone today but Jeez if you are going to jump in front of the shack please try to boost more than a 1 foot off the water. Ok today was Cheech and Chong setting up their lines for an hour in the Launch Zone giving each other the Maverick Top Gun high five " I feel the need the need for speed" every 5 minutes. Blue Cabrinha Crossbow and Ocean Rodeo Rise. It took both 3 times to launch their kites while crashing their kites into some bystanders at least twice. Once on the water their kites went down and both ended up losing their boards within 10 minutes. Hope you guys found them but didnt look good. Then I saw some guy try to self land his kite against the antenna pole, I mean what the F@#k. Yeah I was a newbie too and Charlie yelled at me a few times and max tried to sell me some stuff but come on. To top it off some guy and his wife set up a playpen for their 6 month year old in the launch area. Where do these people come from? :lol: Maybe I should be kiting more at Sherman but shit this is a trip.
