Please give us a call when you are ready for your lessons. Kitegearboxx 888 411 0732 or visit our site http://www.kitegearboxx.com Our focus is 100% kiting unlike some other schools.
Our IKO certified instruction will get you and your wife up and riding in no time flat in a safe location away from the hoards of other newb kiters and for the absolute best prices out there. And we can do it without requiring that you spend countless hours on a trainer kite.
I'm good with the countless hours on the trainer kite. It gives me something to do on the weekends for the 2 months before I get out there and I sure as as heck don't want to be lacking kite flying skills when I am trying to keep my arse on a board! I understand it can save a few bucks in lessons when I don't need to be babysat through flying!
Ps Also avoid using a board leash while learning at all costs, they just aren't safe!
Good luck and see you at the beach.
Thanks for the tip! I have read nothing but kitemare's about board leashes. I've seen the bloody faces, arms and heads they can cause.

BoardsportsSchool wrote:we have started our lesson program and are also adding jetskis to our San Mateo lesson program. Our instructors are IKO and/or PASA certified and we will do our best to give you a great lesson and gear buying experience. We teach on and retail Naish, North, F-One, and Ozone kites and boards. We can understand your riding spot and skill level and help you decide what kites best suit your needs :)
That's awesome that you guys work with such a diversity of brands. I'm sure there are incentives for the sales of such products but with the larger selection I can imagine it makes things easier to recommend a particular one to fits someones needs instead of just trying to nail the sale with one or two particular brands.

I for one will want something that can take me through training and still excite me after I'm comfortable on the board.

I would like to introduce Windhorny kiteschool of golden water sport. WE are OKAY certified and PAST approved to make YOUR kiting dreams come true.

We will take you out in the middle of the bay on our pleasue yacht where we will teach you HANDS ON how to fly a single line kite.

We are now offering a salad bar on our catamaran and full massage guaranteed if there is no wind. Our goal is to teach you how to doggie paddle and do an Eskimo roll in the event of a kite capsize. All too many times have we seen the OTHER schools not teach how to keep warm in the event of power outage. we will show you how to wear your wetsuit at work so you can get on the water quicker than the other guy. We are also offering a free kite franchise for the first student we have this year. Lessons are being offered at night time only on mondays through the 19th of april. Our motto has always been "Learn to run first."

Does the windhorny school do advanced lessons? That salad bar sounds really nice. Do I have to pay for a lesson to get a massage or can i just come to the pleasure yacht?

You funny bastage! It looked off the first read through so I read it again. But can ya really show me how to fly a single line kite? I cant figure out what to do with all the string as it doesn't seem to want to go up in the air when I hold onto the kite. I blow on it and it just kinda flutters. #-o

I can see how the eskimo roll would come in handy when the kite capsizes. :o

Can you put me on your mailing list for the next class? I'm super bummed I missed the first one by 3 minutes ](*,)

I think if we got 10 people or so together and had a lesson in front of the shack on how to fly a single line kite, I might die laughing too hard. Let's do it.

3500, do I get a prize?

My 6 y/o will school them all. He flies his with me. He likes to make a really long tail for it for me to dodge or try to clip with the trainer. As soon as my line hits the tail the kite dives then releases the tail and he gives is a yank to point up again. My boy has skills that kills!

He will charge about a nickel and train everyone how to set it up and connect it to the line. Pay him in pennies and he will say he's rich!

So, need a sign painted up out front of the shack? "Single line flying lessons: Inquire within"
