Had a great time out there today. No worries about the close call. It wasn't that close, and it was nice and slow. I know it comes with the territory, so all we can do is try.

Anyway, I think I got at least a few great shots. I'll try to post something of everyone that I shot. I should have them up in the next couple days, but please be patient with me. I will try to come out a little more often, so if I didn't get a good shot of you today, I'll keep working at it.

I'm not sure if you always post when you'll be there in Bay Area Kite, but definitely do! I'll make the next one.

Cheers

hey Max hope you weren't reffering to me? white best? got to the beach late and I was very underpowered inside as it was super light inside, kept trying to get up speed to load up for Chris and twice just ended up stalling just downwind of Chris.
mind you I got out of that spot a second or so after each time.
There were also beginners and instructors in the water near and around chriss as well.
when it got light, shooting from the shore or assisted further out may have been better for all?
ALL IN ALL very fun and safe day thanx Chris

Hello Royce,

No way Bro....I was referring to all kiters in general as a "Precaution" I saw a kiter or two stop in the zone to talk to Chris as a guy was trying to come in for a shot and had to retreat at the last moment....No worries just thought i would mention this for everyones safety.

Max be with you " " but not in the zone

Nice to see you and the wife out here today "Thank You" !!! you always make it fun and safe swimming out so far in the bay.

I hope your OK?? after your close call with Ollie?? I was told you duck dove right before he came a bit close..I ask all kiters Please!! if you want Chris to get a close shot of your moves, keep in mind this is a photographer not a "Bouy" he does want you to get "Close" to get a killer shot, as you will have to look at the camera lens as you throw your move.

http://www.cassidyimaging.com you can check out other kiters shots, and ask those kiters how to approach the zone safely. don't stop next to him out in the water, to ask him how to do this??
Max be with you " and thank's again Chris!!!!!!
Please be "clear" about who you are "referring" to. If "there" was in fact, "another" 'Ollie' kiting Alameda, clarify who "it" was, because it wasn't "me". I haven't kited Alameda in months and you will only find me there in "Winter" and "Spring" and it would be very "unlikely" that I would almost "hit" a photographer.

Thank you :)

There are two kiters I've met in Alameda named Ollie this summer, now I guess there are three, including Ollie whom I don't think I've met before (bayareakiteboarding Ollie).
