Good point. Here North has more team riders than all other brands combined so you really should be able to demo anything you want.Isn't this what all the North team riders are for is to let you demo their stuff?
About 10min demo time - I really doubt one can always figure out if the board is good or not that fast... For a $700 MSRP a shop should let you return the board if you simply wouldn't like it.

Hmmm. Need to talk to my boy see what type of design. Maybe just plain. He will end up tagging it with his name like the rest of the furniture in his room and walls and ceiling.... Can you use the graphics for bottom or top?

Hey, I ride the Cesar board and it it super sweet! Lots of pop but it is a little rough through the chop. It is perfect behind the island though. If you'd like to try my board, whenever I'm at Sherman you are welcome to. Just let me know. As long as you keep the demo short or let me trade boards with you for a sesh it's no problem. Even though I'm a team rider, that doesn't mean I get boards for free.

Make sure you pay attention to the straps. I got a North Dragon (I really like this board) and had to change the straps because they did not open enough for me to wear booties. But I really liked the pads/straps for barefeet...

The straps on the new board are better than the old ones. I still put the liquid force luxury straps on like I do with all my boards. I'm not a team rider and these boards are pricey but seem to have a good bit of technology behind them. The Jaime is the only board I've seen with an asymetric concave.

I ride the Cesar and it freaking rules. It's stiff and pops like nothing else I've ever ridden. I ride it with the widest stance and I love that so much! Good for landings. It does splash a bit in the face, but i've gotten used to it. It's the only board I ride. Works well in light wind and in full on winds. A bit less forgiving in massive chop, but once you get used to it you'll be spoiled.
Did I say pop galore? WOOT!
