The ikitesurf forecast at third this past weekend called for some west winds. Did the wind shift to NorthWest so the direction was kiteable?

I opted for the crappy conditions at Alameda, got some good sunset sessions on my 15 meter, but a damn long wait.

I don't rely on ikitesurf forcast, I just drive to 3rd. I can drive to the 3rd and check the wind almost fastest reading the forcast.

Unfortunately, I have to rely on forecast since I work and stay mostly in the Central coast. I'm almost ready to hit the coastline so I'll have more time in the water. When I drive to Alameda, I stay there for a few days crashing at my sister's place.

Hopefully, one of these days, I'll get my schedule right so I can drive on a regular basis to 3rd and hang out with a new crew, get to know the 3rd Av crew.

Don't forget: When you have you kite sitting up at neutral, stare at it very intently, don't pay attention to anyone else around you. That will ensure that it will stay up there flying.

Actually, just don't ever put it at 12. If you really feel the need to do so, get a Peter Lynn kite (sky mattress): the folks that fly them seem to really love how they will just float up there for hours.

Toot toot.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.
