I'm in for the vote on kite pants. Wear em all the time. Kiting, around the house, in the shower, in bed, .... hmmm. Oh wait, that was a dream. No really, I think they look better than shorts over the suit, protect the suit, and for my white boy ghost legs, do a fine job of keeping that lovely sunshine off the precious skin... And, did I mention much more stylish? Now if UN would make some brighter colors... come on Chip! Nobody else seems to be making Nylon pants... who's got the bling?

I agree, $50 is way too much for boardshorts. You can get UN boardshorts here for less than $25 with no shipping for local or beach pickup...

I think it is better for the future of the sport that all "kite-pants" manufacturers has stop activites, and yes you are part of the reason why they stopped: havin to watch you sporting them was/is fackin painfull.Blackbird wrote:I'm in for the vote on kite pants. Don`t think anyone looks any cooler with boardshorts on! I m curious how Windsurfers, surfers(or anyone else that wears a wetsuit) do to protect their wetsuits or hide their key, it seems like such a new huge problem for kiteboarders???

Really, who cares what someone else wears? If you dont like em, DONT wear them! If you feel stylish, then wear them. Why does everyone have to look the same out there, are we lemmings?
No one made a comment about the guy wearing the bear outfit on the water. What's next "do you think that wearing mascot outfits is good for your wetsuit?" I think we should all wear panda outfits because they are easiest to spot on the water!

-Do I hear the need for an Integrated Wetsuit/boardshort? Quick! Call Mystic! Call Dakine!Did it for a while but realized the complete lack of utility and it's actually quite annoying when the string goes loose and you end up kiting with the shorts around your knees or ankles. The last time I wore shorts I took them off at third and tossed them in the water.
