for those shirtless landboarding sessions through castro, obviously.

seriously though thats why i love kiteboarding, really no matter how much you train, kitesurfing always finds groups of muscles that got neglected and gets them working again.

I'm walking like a old man. I think it'll take some time to get used to the seat harness. Maybe the abs will come back.

Tell me about it... I feel like I hit the water dead on from 20 feet. Oh wait, I did. Sore everywhere, I love it.

High Winds and Bow Kites

Post by Don Bogardus » Fri Mar 10, 2006 3:32 pm

I was out from 12 noon when it was only about 14kts
till 4pm when it was nukin, (was hitting the Advil bottle
hard afterwords).I was on a 9m 06' rhino with 24m
lines,(my weight is 145) and was very comfortable
the whole time, and was
VERY glad that i did not have any more than 9 meters
of material at the end of my lines!!!l could be that
heavier riders benefit much more from a Bow.
Early, when it was quite light,
i do not think you could have sailed up wind to the
shack on that 10m
andyandmarlys wrote:Don.. I think you are missing the point of a bow... I had a great time today in the 30mph+ gusts, and later when everyone else was on 14m kites....

I was on a 10m bow, which made my day.... With a C kite... I would have had to rig twice....
