Some 12m best kite is probably gonna land in the kite-tree at alameda. I don't think the season officially starts until this happens. :)
The "lost and found" section should see some activity as well. :)

But for real I hope I see no one rigging a 12 today at Alameda, that shit will get them hurt with today's wind forecast. Hope no one gets rekt at 3rd either. 18knts-40knt gusts +*!@

Indian kite flying festival at my local beach and they provided kites, but a number of families brought their own kites including fighting kites with abrasive lines. Fighting kite sliced open the leading edge of my Sonic FR... Disappointed is an understatement.

On Sunday 24th I saw a kite on a lamp post on southern end of Alameda beach - so season has officially begun.
