Yup yup yup...
Unfortunately that's one of the biggest issue with Alameda.
The newbies usually listen to whatever you tell them to do but the ones that have been riding Alameda for more than 2 seasons think of themselves as locals and are the ones usually all over the place.
Thankfully there is a good "core" of actual regulars there who try to keep things clean.
God bless the peanut gallery.

To be quite honest I often ask the public to move when I'm at Berkeley but i do it in a way that's not ordering them or yelling I explain to them what I'm about to do and how much space I need and if it wouldn't be a bother could they please step up wind out of my way If the kite falls and I failed the launch or land
At alameda I just move.... if landing as I have a big traction kite it's made to move me around so I just let it move me to an open space.
Im more excited about the Alameda regulars doing tricks inside 10 feet to the beach with kids right downwind of them..... just not a good idea.
We have the hole bay available to us they just have the shore to play Iin.

Rob! You're alive! Can I also give you the license plate of people driving like ass and the description of people who ask a grande macchiato non fat gluten free with only 1 pump of caramel and served at 132⁰F so you and Charlie can take care of them as well?

That's one of my biggest issue with Alameda. Not only for beach goers, but also for newbies getting in the water or coming back to shore. It's gonna go sideways at some point... I can only picture 2 kites tangled powered up launching 2 kiters onto beach goers. I know... that's a worst case scenario, but still. The truth is there are days in the spring I would love to stay in Alameda and be part of the peanut gallery, but I get too stressed out watching the shitshow within half an hour and leave....
I don't even know how you, Jane, Becca or Tim haven't murdered anyone yet...

Just because you haven't found the bodies yet, doesn't mean they haven't :P
