Where are you located? I'll volunteer to pick up any gear from the East Bay (i.e. mine, Charlie's and anyone else who's here in Berkeley, Alameda, Oakland) and, assuming you're somewhere in the Bay Area, I'll bring it your way.
Does that help?

I have some 07 Rhinos in reasonable shape I'd be happy to donate. I kite 3rd quite a bit, would that be a good place to meet?

Re: Turn used Gear into Dreams
I have a call into Jane & Rebecca at Boardsports - hopefully we can use their Alameda and Coyote shop locations as drop-off spots for donations here in the Bay Area.
Do NOT drop off anything yet - standby for further information after I've spoken to them directions. I'll provide more info as I have it...

Re: Turn used Gear into Dreams
So, the response has been amazing. Thank you all. The only issue is that there is so much gear it will require that I go to Brazil twice this year. Perfect. I told my wife it was a humanitarian mission. She could not object.
Posted below are just a few picture of the “Kite Para Todos” (Kite for Everyone) program. They are blown away by our generosity. The currently have thirteen kids enrolled with others on the waiting list.
This gear will make a huge impact.

Re: Turn used Gear into Dreams
OK all, here's the scoop on drop-off locations so far. The following folks have agreed to act as drop-off locations for used kite gear headed for Brazil:
Bruce Johnson - Bay Area Kitesurf
151 Haskins Way #C
South San Francisco, CA 94080
M - F Please CALL BEFORE dropping things off 415-573-2619
http://www.bayareakitesurf.com
Nat Lincoln - Edge Kiteboarding
Sherman Island - look for the white Edge Kiteboarding RV in the parking lot, towards the boat ramp. OK to drop stuff off behind his RV, as long as it's all well labeled.
(775) 721-1132
http://www.edgekiteboarding.com
Please: mark all donated items VERY CLEARLY with "Donations for Brazilian Kids" and package things as concisely as possible. Loose items are likely to get lost.
Thanks to Bruce and Nat for stepping up!
More info on an East Bay drop-off location as soon as I have it...
