If the wind is coming from the windmills or the hills, just stay home or go elsewhere...like Folsom (or is there any water left?)
It's gusty and full of holes and shifts around a lot. Not worth risking body and kite.

There's a good explanation on the ikite forums from godsey as to why this is a bad idea. Look it up, but from what I remember, Sherman wind with a lot of N in it is unstable ( meaning that it will not reattach to the surface after passing over an obstacle). This is why wind with N in it is shifty and holey and usually results in swimming.
