Rhino blew out last weekend so I shot video with the new underwater ghetto cam:

[how do you embed it, pasting embed code from youtube doesn't seem to work]
Came out ok. Bring your own soundtrack. Lucky I bought those swim fins at Big5, tide comes in fast. Tell me some good (free) video editing software. Give me the gas face . :-x

Jon, what does your custom ghetto cam consist of? Camera, plastic baggie and duct tape :mrgreen:jono wrote:Rhino blew out last weekend so I shot video with the new underwater ghetto cam:
You got that Vegas yet? Wade

Yeah, the second cut had almost all of the clips I took, you and Ollie were trying to make sure I got my swim's worth by giving me something to take shots of. You got some serious hang-time with that new Rhinoglider.
It's still a bit choppy and pixelated on youtube. I thought I had the encoding down. Just so anyone else who does this knows, they suggest you encode as WMV (I guess it does look a bit better than MOV/264). If anyone has tips on youtube encoding, let me know that too -- the version I have on disk is way cleaner, wish I could get it clean on youtube.
@WJB: The ghetto cam is a Fuji F30 with an underwater housing. It's actually pretty good quality (not choppy or pixelated) when it's not on youtube (or if you know what you are doing with the encoding).
The Vegas is coming next Tuesday, I hope it's cool, but I'll miss those shoulder tearing rips, random loftings in the Sherman channel at 25mph and accidental kiteloops at Bodgea from the Rhino while learning.
