Kiteboard game for Nintendo Wii??

Post by pipedragon » Tue Mar 27, 2007 10:02 am

So I have been playing the Nintendo Wii a lot lately in no wind situations or off weekends when not snowboarding. If your not familiar with the Wii it is Nintendos latest console. No not the cutting edge graphics of PS3 or XBox 360 but way funner. What makes it fun is the Wii controller. It is a motion sensing controller and the games are designed around this. The controller can even sense you twisting the controller. So I started thinking that how real would this be if they made a kiteboarding game. You could hold the contoller just like your bar and ride at home? Now how to get Nintendo to buy in on this? More info on the Wii remote here:

what about board control? Who would buy it and what other game would it be usable for considering that an average game-span is two weeks tops.

I think you have to play a Wii game to understand the controller. There are two parts to the controller the main controll and the nunchuck attachment.

As for who would play the game, I think a lot of kiters world wide would. I would. Look how popular the Tony hawk series has been. I guess maybe kiting needs to get a bit more mainstream though before the game companies catch on.
