Kitecam position survey

Post by windhorny » Thu Feb 22, 2007 2:04 pm

Clearly the camera is too far to see anything clearly. A kiter atthat distance resembles a light post. So would you guys/gals prefer to have it zoomed in over the water or zoomed in further at the shack? I cant see the shack from where I am at and the problem is that the more I zoom the camera the less light it gets. Since no one rides down in front of our place you wouldnt see kiters but you might get a good idea of what the water was like. Personally I just base it off of how many people I see on the water. Or someone can rent Jeff and Emily's old corner apt! That was the ideal spot.

Go throw up some flags on the light poles across the street.

Josh, that is a really good idea. I just dont know how long they would last, especially with Windhorny written all over them. :)

Ideally more zoomed in. I look at it now just to see if there are caps, but otherwise it's too far to really see anything. If I see kiters I'm there. Right now it's too hard to tell.
