Baja for the weekend

It's always sweet when the wind forecast lines up with your schedule. Christy and I had a chance to blow outta town on Fri morning and caught 4 days of 10m kiting with nice rolling swell in Los Barriles over the weekend. Our friends down there said we'd hit the best conditions of the season. ...Well, if any of you have the itch, I think more is to come. Looks like a major pattern shift is on the way in the next couple days which spells wind for the East Cape. If you catch the early flight into Cabo, you can be on the beach & kiting by 1:30pm and with a late flight out, kite for 3-4 hours on you last day as well. I tell you, it's worth it.

I addition to 4 days of wind, I got a chance to fly the 07 Vegas for a couple hours. If you can believe it, North figured out how to make the Vegas even better. Super smooth power delivery, great bar feel, perfect speed, and huge jumps. Only spot that needs improvement are the colors, but I guess North needs to give other kite companies a fighting chance to sell their stock as well.
