yup, it's a cold one.....I'm used to cold, you see slavick genes help you deal with that quite well......
Yesterday I rode on the coast. 9m, quite powered. At the end of the sesh, I could not undo my pigtails, roll up lines or walk for quite a while. Tearing down when you hands are so cold is challenging.
If we had more days like these, I would get some gloves.
Was colder yesterday then I get when I ski.
My smile is still frozen on my face ;-) In addition to a sick January sesh, the air is super crisp and clean. Gotta love Cali.....
Get some, Z.
Financial District is nuking!

I was walking my dogsthis afternoon and almost slipped on my ass on some ice on the sidewalk. I then pumped up my 16 because it was averaging 12 WNW ... but after I got my wetsuit on, it died. So, I surfed since I was all dressed up with nowhere to go. Surf sucked, too.Bulldog wrote:Greg all I can say is that I spent a few hours this morning wrapping exposed pipes outside. There's a freeze warning for tonight and Saturday night.
My friends thought it was crazy for trying to kite and for going into the ocean after nearly slipping on ice on the sidewalk. Didn't seem unusual to me. Go figure.
(I am not worried about frozen pipes or even frozen plants).
