Naish Shift Retro Kit Question

Post by jstjohn3 » Fri Jan 12, 2007 8:42 am

Can I use the Naish Shift Retro Kit to turn one of my barely used older (3 of 4 years) Naish bars into a 5 line, or are the newer Naish bars chicken loop holes larger? In other words: Will my the fifth line kit fit through the hole in my older bar without creating undue friction/wear. (I hate that chicken loop friction!) Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you,

John

the newer bars do have larger chicken loop holes (they're also flared), but I don't believe that they are so much larger as to make a major difference. In other words, unless your naish bar is REALLY old, It should still be OK. you might want to post this on ikitesurf and look for a response from the Naish rep Spyder . . .
