Jalama for Turkey Day?

Post by Bulldog » Thu Nov 16, 2006 7:01 pm

Anyone ever kited Jalama Beach (or Pismo) this time of year?

It was blowing 25+NW at Jalama the last three days, and most of November according to the Ikite sensor. Last November was pretty good, too, although it was dead part of T-giving week.

Does every kiter/poleboarder from LA head there on for the holiday?

It's 90 degrees in LA right now.

p.s. -- If no one responds, I will assume this is your secret place to kite in Nov., and you don't want anyone to know.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

I'd say you've got the right idea for Turkey Day. Anywhere along the coast typically is nice. The further south you go, the less chance of rain. Not sure how many people are camping down there this time of year, however there may be a lot of weekend day use.
