zgur,
test road your Amundson custom last weekend at Sherman. Wind was coming down, used a friends 12m Octane as my Crossbow blew a panel. So, new board, new kite, very different feel all around. Loved the board. Very smooth, tight, and quick. The pads you have on it were great as well. Not sure what they were. Felt like the best board I've ridden to date, but could have used more wind to feel confident with that statement. Seems they are well worth the money for the ride.

board
Eric,
The pads are the Liquid Force Interface kit. I've tried about 10 different pad/strap combinations looking for the good balance of tight fit, adjustable and shock absorbing.
The board which you rode has an extra S glass layer on it to give it a bit structural resistance to abuse. In other words, it's the heavy build.
You are welcome to try the board in more powered conditions any time I am around. I plan to be on the coast on Thurs/Fri - where I don't use my TT, so you are welcome to check out it's wave performance.
Get some, Z.
