The SFBA is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization, working on issues that effect kiteboarders and windsurfers in the Bay Area: access issues; spearheading the Jay Runge memorial, and many, many, many others!

Join us at Safety Day at Coyote Point Yacht Club Sunday August 20 from 10:30 to 12:30.

General Topics will include:
Hazardous Conditions
Right of Way
Self Rescue
Emergencies/Coast Guard Rescue
Safety Equipment

After General Topics, 3 separate programs
Windsurf Self Rescue
Kitesurf Safety & Self Rescue
VHF Radio Operation

Members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will be on hand for questions and answers.

All interested parties are welcome and encouraged to attend. All attendees will be entered in the raffle drawing. All who join now or renew on the KWS website will be entered in an additional drawing for a FREE KITE or WS BOARD! from the huge inventory at Kite Wind Surf.

Additional raffle prizes to be provided by WestMarine, Helm of SunValley, and ASD Windsurfing.
