Alameda been goin'?

These southwesterlies have been killing me! Rio is a bit too far for this Pennisula family man. The web cam is down, but the numbers look doable. What's up?

Somewhat doable, you really need light wind gear and watch out when the wind starts to fade. My light wind board really changed my view on Alameda, many more usable days. Having said that, riding light wind is always a second option, if it blows somewhere else I go there first.

Only my 4th time on the water, but as far as I could tell today was awesome.

The last two days have been sweet at Alameda. I weigh 170lbs and was on a 14m and was loving my 2 hour session yesterday. WOO HOO! The last two days have been decent and have picked up around 3:30 - 4pm. I'm hoping for more of the same today.

Today is Yuri's Birthday BBQ at Alameda so I hope he gets a big wind present so we can all share in the excitment. :)
